Dave DuBois – Sweet Treats

It’s been a busy few months for chef-turned-restaurateur Dave DuBois. The co-owner of The Franklin Café (and its two sister restaurants in Gloucester and Southie) has just added two new restaurants to his cache with the openings of Tasty Burger and The Citizen Pub. This holiday season he’s looking for mounds and mounds of old school hard candy – not to satisfy a sweet tooth but to give away to patrons at The Citizen. Depending on your age and era, stock up on the candies of your youth – root beer barrels, licorice rounds, bottle caps – for some sweet nostalgia.
