Joanne Chang – A Special Holiday Six Pack

Perhaps it’s no surprise that with three bustling Flour bakeries and a hip, Pan-Asian eatery in the South End, Myers + Chang chef-owner Joanne Chang doesn’t always have enough time to make her own ice cream from scratch. To be sure she doesn’t come home to an empty freezer, she’d request a six pack of pints from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams this holiday season. The Ohio-based shop, owned and operated by Jeni Britton Bauer, churns out all natural ice cream and frozen yogurt (in flavors like Salty Caramel and Goat Cheese with Cognac Figs) made from milk and cream courtesy of grass-fed Snowville cows. They’ve also got ice cream sandwiches and sorbets (in flavors like Cherry Lambic and Riesling Poached Pear) which they’ll deliver directly to the door of your loved one.
